Earlier this fall a letter arrived at the shop on SE 162nd Avenue. BusinessRate, a company that ranks local businesses from public Google review data, named Larry Myers Garage Doors the Best Garage Door Supplier in Pleasant Valley for 2026.
We did not apply for it, and nobody voted. The ranking comes from the reviews our customers have written over the years. So this one belongs to you.
What the reviews say
Read through our Google reviews and the same things come up again and again. Lynn S. put it in five words: “They show up when scheduled.” Rebecca D. wrote, “Recommend to anyone for honesty and fair pricing.” Kent B. called in the morning, and “later that same day, Brian came out and couldn’t have been more courteous.”
That is the whole job, really. Show up when we say we will. Tell you what the door needs and what it does not. Charge a fair price. Leave the house looking right.
About the award
BusinessRate compiles public Google review data and ranks businesses by category and area. Pleasant Valley is our home neighborhood in outer Southeast Portland, so this is a local recognition in the truest sense: it comes from people who live a few streets away. We serve all of Portland and Vancouver, and the same crew takes every call.
Fifty years, same promise
Larry Myers Garage Doors has been locally owned and operated since 1973. Not a franchise, not a call center. Larry’s rule was to treat every customer like a neighbor, and the crew still works that way: same-day service when you need it, free estimates, and work backed by our warranty.
If we have worked on your door
Thank you. If you have a minute, a Google review helps the next neighbor find us: find us on Google.
And if your door is stuck, loud, or looking tired, request a free estimate or call us. Portland 503-852-9238, Vancouver 360-777-6854.
